by AHML provide independent assurance to healthcare organisations
that their electronic messaging conforms to required standards and
specifications. The advantage of Certification is that a Certification
Officer works with your company to ensure the compliance of your message.
This involves the Certification Officer working with the client to correct any forms
of non-compliance in messages.
During the Certification process, AHML tests and evaluates the compliance of messages
generated from software products and systems with recognised International
and Australian standards, and provides formal recognition to products
and systems through a rigorous process.
Compliance services provide clients with independent assurance that
message format, content and business rules assosciated with electronic
message functions in a software system conform, as claimed, to the
applicable standards. The Compliance services can also provide assurance
of compliance to additional specifications covering message format,
content and business rules implemented locally.
